1.25G 1x9 Single-Fiber BiDi Optical Transceiver

Overview

The FT-35 is a 1.25 Gbps single-channel bidirectional transceiver in the classic 1x9 through-hole package, sending and receiving over one single-mode fiber strand. By combining both directions onto a single fiber with wavelength division multiplexing, it halves fiber consumption — a practical answer when only one spare strand is available between sites.

Its 1x9 footprint and through-hole mounting match the legacy board layouts used across telecom and industrial equipment, making it a straightforward replacement part for aging bidirectional links. Full-duplex service continues on the remaining strand while the second fiber stays free for growth, protection switching or other traffic.
