32-Port 100GbE Spine/Core Data Center Switch

Overview

The FT-100G-7 is a 32-port 100GbE data center switch built for spine and core layers of high-bandwidth fabrics. Powered by the Broadcom Tomahawk BCM56960 switching chip, it delivers 6.4 Tbps of full-duplex switching capacity with latency as low as 500 ns. The platform runs Layer 2 and Layer 3 with ICOS software for routing and fabric services. Cooling uses a back-to-front airflow design that matches hot-aisle and cold-aisle data center layouts. With 32 100G ports in a compact form, the FT-100G-7 fits spine-leaf architectures, aggregation layers and large-scale cloud and enterprise cores.
