32G zSFP+ Receptacle with Cage, Ganged 2x6, External Springs

Overview

The FT-1-2198339-9 is a 12-port zSFP+ cage assembly with an integrated connector for dense pluggable I/O. The ganged 2x6 port matrix supports up to 32 Gb/s per channel, and press-fit right-angle mounting installs directly into through-hole boards with no soldering. External springs reinforce EMI containment at the panel opening, and an elastomeric gasket adds a further sealing layer.

The thermally enhanced construction aids heat removal from plugged modules, and the included lightpipe brings port status to the bezel. With a 0.6 mm contact centerline pitch, a recommended 1.8 mm PCB thickness, and a -55 to 105 °C operating range, the assembly fits signal applications in harsh operating environments.
