Overview

The FT-2198339-2 is a 12-port zSFP+ cage assembly with an integrated connector, designed for high-density pluggable I/O on network equipment. Its ganged 2x6 port matrix delivers 32 Gb/s per channel, while press-fit termination simplifies board mounting without soldering. An elastomeric gasket and EMI shielding contain electromagnetic interference, the thermally enhanced design helps heat dissipation, and the included lightpipe routes status indication to the panel face.

The assembly uses right-angle through-hole mounting with a recommended PCB thickness of 1.8 mm and operates from -55 to 105 °C, suiting signal applications in demanding environments.
