2x6 SFP+ Receptacle with Cage, Press-Fit, Lightpipe, 16 Gb/s

Overview

The FT-1-2007562-7 from F-tone Networks is a ganged 2x6 SFP+ receptacle with cage (OEM cross-reference: 1-2007562-7) built for twelve-port vertical and horizontal I/O consolidation. The 240-position host electrical receptacle and the optical lightpipes are pre-integrated with the cage shell, forming one through-hole press-fit assembly that mounts without solder or reflow. Lightpipe channels deliver board LED status to the front panel for each of the twelve stacked ports. External metallic EMI springs compress against the bezel cutout to keep shielding continuous across the full 2x6 opening. Each port is rated to 16 Gb/s for 10GbE, 16G Fibre Channel and direct-attach copper links.
