Overview

The FT-2007562-6 from F-tone Networks is a 2x6 stacked SFP+ cage assembly (OEM cross-reference: 2007562-6) that places twelve SFP+ ports on a two-row, six-column grid for high front-panel density. It integrates a 240-position host electrical receptacle and optical lightpipes into one press-fit unit, so the board assembly completes in a single press without separate connector reflow or lightpipe installation. Pre-assembled lightpipes route LED link and activity signals to the front bezel for all twelve ports. Each port supports up to 16 Gb/s for 10GbE, 16G Fibre Channel and direct-attach copper links.
