10G CWDM SFP+ 1350nm 10km Transceiver

Overview

Data center interconnect links join facilities that sit close on a map yet too far apart for grey optics to share one fiber. The FT-SFPPLUS-10G-10KM-1350 addresses that gap: a 10G CWDM SFP+ on the 1350 nm channel, rated for 10 km, transporting 9.95 to 11.1 Gbps between sites. Operators multiplex several 10G wavelengths onto a single leased or owned fiber pair instead of lighting one pair per service, cutting recurring fiber cost from day one. Housed in the hot-pluggable SFP+ form factor, the module slots into 10G line cards, and its CWDM-SFP10G-FM series siblings extend the same channel plan to 20, 40, 60 and 80 km. For DCI builds that start short and grow long, wavelength reuse beats new fiber.
