Overview

The FT-SFP-1G-100KM is a 1000BASE-CWDM SFP transceiver from F-tone Networks for long-reach Gigabit Ethernet. It carries 1G traffic across 100km of fiber, letting operators extend Gigabit services between cities or metro nodes without intermediate regeneration. Designed for coarse wavelength division multiplexing systems, the module slots into standard SFP ports and rides alongside other CWDM channels on shared fiber. This makes it a straightforward way to add Gigabit capacity to existing WDM plant, with simple hot-plug installation and familiar SFP management.
