Single-Port SFP Cage, Press-Fit Right Angle, Through-Hole Solder Mount

Overview

The FT-1-2227303-2 is a ruggedized single-port (1x1) SFP cage assembly built to give optical and copper transceivers a strong mechanical housing with firm electromagnetic containment. The right-angle receptacle installs by press-fit into a through-hole board with solder mounting, providing the physical-layer infrastructure for single-port routing, storage-area-network and telecom transport hardware.

External springs at the panel opening suppress EMI, and the industrial-grade construction holds up in unpredictable operating environments. No lightpipe is included. The assembly is board-mounted and rated from -55 to 85 °C.
