100BASE-BX BiDi SFP 1550nm TX / 1490nm RX 80km Transceiver

Overview

The FT-SFP-100M-BIDI is a bidirectional SFP transceiver for 100BASE-BX Fast Ethernet links. It transmits at 1550nm and receives at 1490nm over a single strand of single-mode fiber, so each link uses a matched pair of complementary modules. With an 80km reach and a 155 Mbps data rate, it connects distant campus, enterprise, and metro access nodes without intermediate regeneration. The single-fiber design cuts fiber count in half compared with duplex links. The module fits standard SFP ports and is built for steady operation in access networks where fiber availability is limited.
