1490nm/1310nm 60km BiDi Gigabit SFP Transceiver

Overview

The FT-SFP-1G-BIDI-3 is a long-reach bidirectional SFP transceiver from F-tone Networks that carries gigabit Ethernet 60km over a single fiber strand. With 1490nm transmit and 1310nm receive wavelengths, it works with the matching pair at the opposite end to complete the link. The 1.25Gbps line rate supports full 1000BASE throughput across metro and inter-site spans. By transmitting both directions on one fiber, it halves strand requirements where fiber is scarce or expensive to lease. Operators deploy it in standard SFP ports for access rings, rural backhaul and long campus interconnects.
