100G QSFP28 CWDM4 2km Optical Transceiver

Overview

The FT-QSFP28-100G-CWDM4-1271 is a 100G QSFP28 optical transceiver from F-tone Networks for 2 km links over single-mode fiber. It multiplexes four 25G lanes onto CWDM wavelengths from 1271 nm to 1331 nm, using a DFB laser array on the transmit side and PIN photodiodes on the receive side. Transmit power ranges from -6.5 to +2.5 dBm, with receive sensitivity of -8.1 dBm. Multi-rate compatibility is supported, and commercial, industrial and military temperature grades are available. The module suits data center interconnects and metro access links where single-mode fiber reaches beyond multimode limits.
