1-Channel Video / 1-Channel Bi-Directional Fiber Optic Video Multiplexer

The FT-1911 from F-tone Networks is a fiber optic multiplexer that transports one channel of uncompressed composite video together with one bi-directional data channel over fiber. Video is encoded at 8-bit resolution through a 75Ω BNC interface and supports PAL, NTSC and SECAM CCTV camera systems. The data channel handles RS-485, RS-422 and RS-232 protocols for camera control and device signaling. Wavelength-division multiplexing keeps video quality high on a single fiber strand, and the plug-and-play design needs no electrical or optical adjustment. LED indicators provide instant system monitoring. The unit works as a standalone module or as a card in a 19-inch rack chassis.
