1-Channel Fiber Optic Video Multiplexer

The FT-1909 from F-tone Networks is a 1-channel fiber optic video multiplexer that carries 8-bit digitally encoded composite video over a single fiber, together with RS-485, RS-422 and RS-232 data channels. The modules are directly compatible with NTSC, PAL and SECAM CCTV camera systems and support point-to-point or daisy-chain connection, so one fiber can serve several sites in sequence. The plug-and-play design needs no adjustment during installation or operation. Video signal-to-noise ratio exceeds 67 dB and audio SNR exceeds 80 dB. It operates from -45 to +75 °C with an MTBF of over 100,000 hours, and higher channel counts from 2 to 64 are optionally available.
