FT-1G-3 10/100/1000BASE-T Copper GBIC Transceiver with Auto Negotiation

The FT-1G-3 is a copper GBIC transceiver that brings 10/100/1000BASE-T Ethernet connectivity to GBIC port cages. It auto-negotiates the link speed with the far end, from 10 Mbps through 100 Mbps up to full Gigabit Ethernet, so one module covers a range of legacy and current copper ports. The RJ45 interface runs over standard twisted-pair cabling, which makes it a practical choice where fiber is unnecessary for short in-building runs. As a hot-swappable GBIC module, it installs into live equipment without downtime, useful for switch and router ports that need copper media in enterprise wiring closets and data centers.
