FT-OSFP-XD-2X800G 1.6T OSFP-XD 2x800G Breakout Optical Module

The FT-OSFP-XD-2X800G is a 1.6T optical module in the extended-density OSFP-XD form factor, designed for 2 x 800G breakout applications. It fans out a single 1.6T switch port into two 800G channels, letting operators feed two 800G links from one 1.6T port without stranding port capacity. Operating at 1310 nm through an MPO/MTP interface, the module reaches up to 10 km on fiber. This breakout configuration is suited to migrations from 800G to 1.6T fabrics, enabling mixed-speed connectivity while the network transitions. The compact OSFP-XD footprint helps preserve faceplate density as per-port speeds double.
