FT-100688 Gigabit Ethernet Media Converter Multimode 550m

The FT-100688 is a compact gigabit Ethernet media converter pairing a 1000Base-LX SC fiber interface with a 10/100/1000M RJ45 copper port. Rated for 550 m fiber links, it serves short-reach conversions between twisted-pair LAN segments and fiber plant. Auto MDI/MDIX on the RJ45 port removes crossover-cable concerns, and the unit supports 10/100 Mbps in half or full duplex plus 1000 Mbps in full duplex. It draws under 3 W at full load, carries an MTBF above 50,000 hours, and provides TP/LNK, 1000M, FX/LNK and PWR LEDs for quick status checks. The -10 to 55 °C operating range covers wiring closets, campus floors and light industrial sites.
