Overview

Designed for economical 100G connectivity over short multimode spans, the FT-CFP2-100G-300M-850 is a CFP2 transceiver operating in the 850nm band. A VCSEL transmitter paired with a PIN receiver delivers up to 103.1 Gb/s, covering 100GBASE-SR10 links up to 100 m as listed in the specification data. The module uses an MPO (MTP24) connector and supports digital diagnostics for continuous monitoring of operating parameters. It runs on a 3.3 V supply within a commercial 0 to 70 °C temperature range. Typical deployments include enterprise aggregation layers, data center distribution links and 100G Ethernet edge networks where short-reach optics keep per-port costs down.
