1-Channel Video and Reverse Data Fiber Optic Multiplexer in Aluminum Housing, 20 km SM

The FT-20KM-96 from F-tone Networks is a fiber optic multiplexer housed in a corrosion-resistant aluminum alloy enclosure, built for harsh environments such as coal mine sites and outdoor industrial plants. It transports one channel of uncompressed composite video and one reverse data channel over a single single-mode fiber, reaching up to 20 km on 1310/1550 nm wavelengths with a 12 dB optical power budget. Video uses 8-bit digital encoding through a 75Ω BNC interface with PAL, NTSC and SECAM support. The reverse data channel runs DC to 115.2 Kbps with RS-485 (2-wire/4-wire), RS-232, RS-422 and contact closure at a 10E-9 bit error rate.
