1-Channel Video and Return Data Fiber Optic Multiplexer, 20 km SM

The FT-20KM-97 from F-tone Networks is a fiber optic multiplexer that carries one channel of uncompressed composite video together with one return data channel over a single single-mode fiber, with a reach of up to 20 km on 1310/1550 nm wavelengths and a 12 dB optical power budget. Video is encoded at 8-bit resolution through a 75Ω BNC interface and supports PAL, NTSC and SECAM systems. The return path handles serial data from DC to 115.2 Kbps with RS-485 (2-wire/4-wire), RS-232, RS-422 and contact closure at a 10E-9 bit error rate, suited to PTZ camera control. The unit works as a standalone module or as a card in a 19-inch rack chassis.
