1-Channel Video, Return Data and Forward Audio Fiber Optic Multiplexer, 20 km SM

The FT-20KM-98 from F-tone Networks is a fiber optic multiplexer that transports one channel of uncompressed composite video, one return data channel and one forward audio channel over a single single-mode fiber, reaching up to 20 km on 1310/1550 nm wavelengths with a 12 dB optical power budget. The video path uses 8-bit digital encoding over a 75Ω BNC interface with PAL, NTSC and SECAM support. The return data channel runs from DC to 115.2 Kbps with RS-485 (2-wire/4-wire), RS-232, RS-422 and contact closure at a 10E-9 bit error rate. Audio is delivered at 600Ω, 6 dBm with better than 80 dB SNR. It installs standalone or as a card in a 19-inch rack chassis.
