1-Channel Video and Duplex Audio Fiber Optic Multiplexer, 20 km SM

The FT-20KM-99 from F-tone Networks is a fiber optic multiplexer that carries one channel of uncompressed composite video together with one duplex audio channel over a single single-mode fiber, with a reach of up to 20 km on 1310/1550 nm wavelengths and a 12 dB optical power budget. Video uses 8-bit digital encoding through a 75Ω BNC interface and supports PAL, NTSC and SECAM formats. Audio is digitized at 24-bit resolution for clear two-way voice alongside the picture. The pair installs as standalone transmitter and receiver, or as cards in a 19-inch rack chassis, and is immune to EMI, RFI and ground loops.
