1-Channel Video and Bi-Directional Data Fiber Optic Multiplexer, 20 km SM

The FT-20KM-113 from F-tone Networks is a fiber optic multiplexer that carries one channel of uncompressed composite video together with one bi-directional data channel over a single single-mode fiber, with a reach of up to 20 km on 1310/1550 nm wavelengths and a 12 dB optical power budget. The video path uses 8-bit digital encoding over a 75Ω BNC interface and is compatible with PAL, NTSC and SECAM camera systems. The data channel supports RS-485 (2-wire or 4-wire), RS-232, RS-422 and contact closure for PTZ control and sensor signaling. It installs as a standalone unit or as a card in a 19-inch rack chassis, and front-panel LEDs report operating status in real time.
