1-Channel Video, Bi-Directional Data, Bi-Directional Audio and Ethernet Fiber Optic Multiplexer, 20 km SM

The FT-20KM-102 from F-tone Networks is a fiber optic multiplexer that transports one channel of uncompressed composite video, one bi-directional data channel, one bi-directional audio channel and one Ethernet channel over a single single-mode fiber, reaching up to 20 km on 1310/1550 nm wavelengths with a 12 dB optical power budget. Video is encoded digitally at 8-bit resolution through a 75Ω BNC interface and supports PAL, NTSC and SECAM formats. Data protocols include RS-485 (2-wire or 4-wire), RS-232, RS-422 and contact closure. The unit works as a standalone module or as a card in a 19-inch rack chassis, and LED indicators show link and channel status at a glance.
