1-Channel Video and Forward Audio Fiber Optic Multiplexer, Single-Mode 20km

The FT-20KM-105 from F-tone Networks is a fiber optic video multiplexer that carries 1 channel of forward video and 1 channel of simplex forward audio over a single-mode fiber, supplied as a transmitter and receiver pair. Audio is carried as 24-bit digitally encoded data over the same fiber, keeping voice and video synchronized end to end. It operates at 1310/1550 nm with a 12 dB optical power budget and a maximum transmission distance of 20 km on single-mode fiber, with multimode versions available for up to 2 km. Video SNR exceeds 67 dB and audio SNR exceeds 80 dB, with an operating temperature range of -45 to +75 °C.
