1-Channel Video with Reverse Data and Bi-Directional Audio Fiber Optic Multiplexer, 20km

The FT-20KM-104 from F-tone Networks is a fiber optic video multiplexer that carries 1 channel of forward video, 1 channel of reverse data and 1 channel of bi-directional audio over a single-mode fiber, supplied as a transmitter and receiver pair. The reverse data channel supports RS485 (2-wire or 4-wire), RS232/422 and contact closure formats at rates from DC to 115.2 Kbps with a bit error rate of 10E-9, so camera PTZ control and telemetry run back over the same fiber. It operates at 1310/1550 nm with a 12 dB optical power budget and a maximum transmission distance of 20 km on single-mode fiber, with multimode versions available for up to 2 km. Standalone and rack insert-card versions are available.
