FT-100668 10/100/1000Base-TX to 1000Base-LX BIDI Gigabit Media Converter 20km

The FT-100668 is a single-fiber bidirectional (BIDI) gigabit media converter for 20 km single-mode spans. It transmits at 1310 nm and receives at 1550 nm over a single SC strand, halving the fiber count needed for long campus or access links. The card-format converter measures 112.8 x 77.2 x 23 mm and provides two 1000Base-X SC ports plus a 10/100/1000M RJ45 port. The copper side negotiates 10/100/1000 Mbps while the fiber side runs 1000M full duplex. Power draw stays below 3 W from a built-in 5–12 V DC supply, and MTBF exceeds 50,000 hours. The unit complies with IEEE 802.3, 802.3u and 802.3z, with commercial, industrial and military temperature grades available as options.
