Overview

The FT-XFP-DW10G29-80C from F-tone Networks is engineered for those loss-heavy paths: a DWDM EML transmitter launches 0 to +4.0 dBm at 1554.13 nm on the C29 channel of the 100 GHz grid, and the APD receiver detects signals weaker than -23.0 dBm, opening a generous budget for splices, OADMs and aging fiber across 80 km of single-mode cable. Operating at 11.1 Gbps with SFP+ MSA, CPRI and eCPRI support, and digital diagnostics for margin tracking, it gives metro planners the dB headroom long rings require, in commercial, industrial or military temperature grades.
