10G XFP DWDM 1547.72nm 80km Transceiver

Overview

Adding capacity to a lit 100 GHz grid means finding the open slot. The FT-101484 from F-tone Networks takes the C37 channel at 1547.72 nm, a fixed-wavelength 10G XFP DWDM optic for 80 km that slides into existing mux/demux plans without re-engineering the grid. The EML transmitter holds -1 to +4 dBm, the LC duplex interface matches installed fiber, and the module stays under 1.5 W so dense chassis are unaffected. DOM support provides per-channel visibility as the new wavelength goes live, and CPRI/eCPRI plus SFP+ MSA protocols keep the part useful across transport and fronthaul roles.
