10G XFP DWDM 1542.94nm 80km Transceiver

Overview

Mobile fronthaul runs on strict timing and fixed optics. The FT-101494 from F-tone Networks is a 10G XFP DWDM module on the C43 channel at 1542.94 nm, tuned for 80 km links on the 100 GHz grid and protocol-ready for CPRI and eCPRI as well as SFP+ MSA. Its EML transmitter delivers -1 to +4 dBm through an LC duplex interface, and the XFP package keeps power below 1.5 W for dense remote-radio aggregation shelves. DOM support gives field teams visibility into optical levels without a site visit. Where operators are pushing baseband hotels tens of kilometers from the antenna site, a fixed-wavelength C43 part slots directly into the DWDM plan.
