Overview

Unplanned downtime starts with an invisible drift. The FT-XFP-DW10G44-80C from F-tone Networks is a 10G XFP DWDM transceiver on the C44 channel at 1542.14 nm, built for 80 km spans on the 100 GHz grid, and it carries DOM support so operators can watch temperature, supply voltage and optical power without pulling the module. The DWDM EML transmitter launches 0 to +4.0 dBm, while the APD receiver holds sensitivity better than -23.0 dBm. Data rate reaches 11.1 Gbps over single-mode fiber through an LC duplex connector, and commercial, industrial or military temperature grades are offered. With part numbers matching major OEM platforms, it drops into existing DWDM shelves as a like-for-like replacement.
