Overview

The FT-QSFP28-100G-SR-900 is a 100G bi-directional QSFP28 transceiver from F-tone Networks for multimode fiber. It operates on the 850/900 nm wavelength pair using VCSEL transmitters and PIN receivers, with bi-directional digital diagnostics (DOM). Reach depends on fiber grade: 70 m on OM3, 100 m on OM4 and 150 m on OM5. Transmit power ranges from -5.5 to 3 dBm with receive sensitivity better than -9.5 dBm, and the module operates from 0 to 70 °C. It targets short-reach 100G links inside data centers where a bi-directional form factor simplifies sparing and fiber planning.
