100G QSFP28 Bi-Directional 850nm 100m Transceiver

Overview

The FT-QSFP28-BIDI-100G is a 100G bi-directional QSFP28 transceiver from F-tone Networks for short-reach multimode links up to 100 m. It uses an 850 nm VCSEL transmitter with PIN receivers and built-in clock and data recovery (CDR) on both transmit and receive paths. Digital diagnostics (DOM) are supported, and transmit power ranges from -5.5 to 3 dBm. The module follows the QSFP28 MSA and IEEE 802.3bm CAUI-4, uses NRZ modulation, and consumes less than 3.5 W. The duplex LC interface makes it a straightforward fit for 100G Ethernet ports in data center fabrics.
