Overview

The FT-QSFPPLUS-100M is a 100-meter QSFP+ to QSFP+ active optical cable with a 40 Gbps data rate. Built on an active optical design, it carries full-rate 40G Ethernet traffic across reaches that exceed what direct attach copper can handle, while staying lighter and more flexible than separate transceivers with fiber patch cords. The commercial temperature range of 0 to 70C suits standard data center and enterprise equipment rooms. It is compatible with Extreme Networks 10318 modules. The cable offers a single-cable, plug-and-play interconnect for high-density 40G aggregation links where copper reach falls short.
