Overview

The FT-CFP2-100G-100M is a 100G optical transceiver in the CFP2 form factor for short-reach multimode fiber links. It carries 100GBASE-SR10 and OTN OTU4 multirate traffic in the 850nm band using a VCSEL transmitter and PIN receiver, reaching up to 100 m over multimode fiber. With a maximum data rate of 112 Gb/s, an MPO connector and digital diagnostics, the module enables real-time link monitoring. It operates from a 3.3 V supply across a commercial 0 to 70 °C case temperature range. The unit suits data center interconnects, 100G Ethernet aggregation and carrier transport links that require multirate flexibility in a compact module.
