Overview

The FT-CFP-100G-100M-850 is a 100G CFP optical transceiver from F-tone Networks built on the SR10 multimode architecture. It uses a 10-channel VCSEL array at 850 nm with PIN receivers and a 24-fiber MPO connector to reach 100 m over multimode fiber. The module is dual-rate, supporting both 100G Ethernet and OTN OTU4 up to 112 Gb/s, with digital diagnostics available. It runs on a 3.3 V supply and operates from 0 to 70 °C case temperature. The CFP form factor suits transport platforms and early-generation 100G line cards that still rely on the CFP footprint.
