Overview
The FT-SFP-100G is a 100G passive direct attach copper cable in the SFP-DD form factor, designed for short-reach server and switch connections inside the data center. It carries a full 100 Gb/s over twinaxial copper, giving a low-cost, low-power alternative to optical modules for links from 0.5 to 3 meters. The cable meets IEEE 802.3cd and 802.3bj signal integrity requirements and is available in 26 and 30 AWG constructions with a black PVC jacket rated VW-1. With a 3.3 V supply and a 0 to 70 °C case temperature range, it drops into standard SFP-DD ports for top-of-rack and rack-scale interconnects.
