Overview

The FT-QSFP28-4SFP28-DAC is a 100G QSFP28 to 4xSFP28 passive direct attach breakout cable. One QSFP28 end breaks out into four SFP28 ends over a 1 m (3.28 ft) passive copper assembly, giving a single 100G switch port access to four 25G server or storage ports. The passive twinax design keeps signal latency minimal and limits power draw to the host side, with no optical components to service. It is rated for commercial temperature operation from 0 to 70 °C and follows standard QSFP28 and SFP28 electrical interfaces.
