100G QSFP28 Passive Direct Attach Copper Cable

Overview

The FT-QSFP28-100G-11 is a 100G passive direct attach copper cable for short-reach QSFP28 interconnects. It is available in 1 m, 3 m and 5 m lengths, with 30 AWG cable for the 1 m and 3 m versions and 26 AWG for the 5 m version. Configurations cover QSFP28 to QSFP28 straight connections and QSFP28 to 4xSFP28 breakout links. As a passive copper design it draws power only through the host PHY, keeping latency low and cost below optical alternatives. It follows standard QSFP28 and SFF electrical interfaces and suits server, switch and storage connections inside and between adjacent racks.
