100G CFP2 to QSFP28 Adapter Converter Module

Overview

The FT-CVR-CFP2-100G is an adapter converter that places a QSFP28 optical module into a CFP2 cage. It bridges the CFP2 host electrical interface to a single QSFP28 slot, supporting aggregate data rates up to 112 Gbps under IEEE P802.3bm. Installed cards gain access to the QSFP28 optics portfolio without a line-card swap, which protects earlier investment and shortens upgrade cycles. Digital diagnostics pass through for live monitoring of the inserted module. The converter is specified for commercial temperature from 0 to 70 °C, with industrial and military grades available on request.
