100G QSFP28 BiDi 1271/1331nm 10km Module

Overview

The FT-QSFP28-BIDI-10K is a 100G QSFP28 transceiver that transmits and receives over a single strand of single-mode fiber. Its 1271 nm transmitter and 1331 nm receiver share one simplex LC connector, so a bidirectional 10 km link uses half the fiber of a conventional duplex pair. Full 100G throughput fits in the compact QSFP28 package for high-density switch and router ports. The module targets operators adding 100G capacity on fiber routes that are already scarce, where pulling new cable is costly or not possible at all.
