100G QSFP28 BiDi 1304/1309nm 40km Module

Overview

The FT-QSFP28-BIDI-40KR moves 100 Gb/s across a single fiber strand, sending at 1304 nm and receiving at 1309 nm through a simplex LC connector. It pairs with the reverse-wavelength module (transmit 1309 nm, receive 1304 nm) at the far end. Keeping both directions on one strand halves fiber consumption on leased routes and congested ducts where every strand carries a rental or capacity cost. The module drops into any standard QSFP28 100G slot as a hot-pluggable optic and carries the full aggregate rate. With 40 kilometers of single-mode reach, it fits metro ring extensions and regional point-to-point links that would otherwise need two fibers per 100G channel.
