QSFP28 to SFP28 Adapter Converter Module

Overview

The FT-CVR-QSFP28-SFP28 is a QSFP28 to SFP28 adapter converter module. It lets a QSFP28 switch port host an SFP28 or SFP module, so a 100G cage can serve 25G optics or direct attach cables without a dedicated SFP28 port. The converter reports DDM data to the host and follows IEEE 802.3bj electrical signaling. It is available in commercial, industrial and military temperature grades. Network teams use it to migrate mixed-rate fabrics gradually, protecting installed 100G switch investment while 25G devices remain in service.
