The FT-SFPPLUS-1000M-BRK is a multi-port gigabit media converter that aggregates four 10/100/1000M copper connections onto two SFP fiber links. It consolidates several RJ45 drops into a pair of fiber uplinks, reducing the fiber count needed to backhaul an edge cluster. Each copper port auto-negotiates 10/100/1000 Mbps, and the SFP slots take modules matched to the fiber plant and reach. The unit suits wiring closets, small aggregation points and surveillance or IoT clusters where multiple copper devices share one or two fiber uplinks to the core network.
