The FT-SFPPLUS-1000M-2 is a gigabit Ethernet media converter equipped with two SFP fiber slots. It supports 10/100/1000M Ethernet rates and gives network builders a flexible way to join fiber segments, using SFP modules selected for the fiber type and reach on each side. With both ports on removable SFP optics, the unit adapts to multimode or single-mode plants and to different distance budgets without hardware changes. It fits access and aggregation points where fiber continuity must be maintained across mixed fiber types, such as campus distribution layers and service-provider demarcation points.
