850nm 550m Multimode Dual-Fiber Mini Gigabit Media Converter

Overview

The FT-1000M-850 connects 10/100/1000 Mbps copper Ethernet to dual-fiber 850 nm multimode optics, extending Gigabit links up to 550 m inside buildings and campuses. Multimode fiber at 850 nm is the cost-effective choice for short in-premises runs, and the duplex optical interface comes in SC, ST or FC connector options to match existing cabling. A compact iron chassis with free-air convection cooling and an external power supply keeps the unit quiet and cool in equipment rooms. Power input is DC 5–12 V with maximum consumption of 3 W, and front-panel LEDs covering TX LINK, FX LINK, TX ACT, FX ACT, PWR and FDX show status at a glance.
