Its longer reach supports regional routes and inter-city links that exceed typical metro distances, terminating with a dual LC connector. Built for dense wavelength division multiplexing line systems, it adds a 10G wavelength channel without new fiber construction. Integrated DDMI digital diagnostics report temperature, voltage and optical power levels in real time, which helps operators confirm performance margins on long spans and troubleshoot degradations before they become outages.
