The FT-X2-80KM is a 10.3 Gbps DWDM transceiver in the X2 form factor, engineered for single-mode fiber spans up to 80 km. It terminates with a dual SC connector and fits standard X2 cages on routers and 10 Gigabit Ethernet line cards. The 80 km reach makes it suitable for extended metro rings and regional transport where intermediate regeneration is not available. As part of a dense wavelength division multiplexing deployment, it contributes one 10G channel on a DWDM wavelength. Built-in DDMI monitoring tracks operating parameters continuously, supporting proactive maintenance on long-haul optical routes.
