Overview

The FT-OSFP-800G-PC1-5M is a 1.5-meter (5ft) passive direct-attach copper cable that carries 800Gb/s between two OSFP ports using 8 lanes of 100G PAM4 signaling. Built on AWG 30 twinax with IHS finned-top OSFP connectors, it draws only 0.1W per end, making it a low-power, low-latency option for short 800G interconnects. It follows OSFP MSA, IEEE 802.3ck and CMIS v4.0, and targets 800GBASE-CR8 Ethernet as well as 800G InfiniBand NDR fabrics.
