Overview

The FT-MCP7F00-A01A is a 100G passive breakout direct attach copper cable that splits one QSFP28 port into four 25G SFP28 connections. The 1.5-meter (4.9 ft) assembly uses 30 AWG twinax with a PVC (OFNR) jacket, providing a low-cost, low-power way to fan out 100G switch ports to servers. It supports 100G Ethernet and InfiniBand EDR. Minimum bend radius is 25 mm, and the operating temperature range is 0 to 70 C. The cable carries the MCP7F00-A01A part-number coding for drop-in use with compatible hosts.
